Different track gauges, why not just swap load units between the different trains with different track gauges?

There is a well-known problem in the world and that is that there are different track gauges in several countries. The problem of sending goods and freight between countries is made more difficult by that factor. In some places, different designs have been built at stations where, for example, "axles" are changed so that the wagons can run on the same tracks. A time-consuming and costly process.

Even for the rolling stock, which must be constructed in a certain way. We have a simple solution to the problem and that is to let our reloading unit "Myran" handle reloading unit loads between the different track gauges. Below you will find an animation of how it will be carried out. It is made to describe the handling of unit loads ISO containers and swap bodies. Trailers are not handled by the system.

- There are many advantages to our solution and a big advantage is that the rolling wagon material remains in the respective country and does not disappear into       another country to return very late.

- The process can be automated and many reloads can take place simultaneously. It is also very cost-effective. We are content to publish a simple animation of how     the reloading process works!

We therefore refer to our page where the reloading technology "The Ant" is presented. Link
