In sparsely populated Sweden, the passenger base is not sufficient to justify the expansion of high-speed connections other than between metropolitan regions. Being able to also carry light goods can contribute to better economics. Sales over the internet are growing rapidly and are creating demand for fast deliveries of packages directly to customers.

- The train can be equipped with space for small containers that get on and off the train as quickly as the passengers

The website, CCT.se, presents a solution with an automated process for handling special light containers for high-speed trains. We have developed a simple technology with the "Ant" to unload and load containers from the train to the station/terminal. An animation of container reloading is shown if you click on the video below.
