Electric cars are developing in the wrong direction!
Development is moving fast and in many cases is going in the wrong direction. Unfortunately, it happens in all types of traffic that people do not realize that times have changed and that what applied as little as 10 years ago (In the infrastructure for a short time) has completely overturned all the now old concepts. It is important to be open to changes, see the day as it is and see how the future can be and make it better for man!
Car transport for passenger traffic.
Now everyone is running at full speed to electrify all passenger cars. It is the future solution to transporting oneself with a passenger car. Is it really so?
or is there a completely incorrect development? We can take a Tesla that has been allowed to stand as a model for future electrification. A Tesla consumes about 2 kWh per mile and if there is only one passenger in it, that's it catastrophic figures for moving around with a Tesla. The old 2000 train costs 2.1 kWh for three passengers and is thus completely superior in terms of energy consumption.
To manufacture
An electric car adds 8.1 tons of CO2 to the energy balance, producing a regular gasoline-powered car adds 5.6 tons of CO2. Is it reasonable to increase the CO2 content by 45% to manufacture electric cars. How environmentally friendly is the electric car and how does it fare against the competition
from the train when it comes to energy and carbon dioxide emissions?
Another disadvantage of electric cars is that they are very heavy. They constantly drive with a battery weight of 600 -1200 kg and that burdens the energy costs.
In addition, they have wide tires, which emits a pollution of particles from the tires that annually ensures that between 5,000 to 7,000 people die prematurely in Sweden. Throughout Europe is the number perhaps 500,000 people. The EU has therefore called on all major tire manufacturers and wants to see a solution to this before 2028.
Something that is completely swept under the carpet is what does the recycling of the batteries used in the electric cars look like? Is there an environmentally friendly alternative to recycling? The large amount of rare earth metals consumed in the manufacture of batteries. Questions that should be answered before the entire car fleet is fully electrified.
Car manufacturers are chasing ranges, do we really need long ranges to commute to and from work? Most car transports are relative
short! There's no need to drive around with these monster trucks!
There are certainly reasons to question the rapid development of electric cars before all questions are answered.
The future prospects for the electric car are really lame! Really time to raise a warning finger!
